At the No Skids Movement, we are passionate about protecting the environment and public health—recognizing that time is running out. Thousands of unhoused individuals are currently forced to deposit feces in Seattle’s parks, sidewalks, and streets. This issue has become a visible stain on our community and the environment, and it is one we can no longer ignore. Improper disposal of feces not only degrades our neighborhoods but also impacts water quality downstream from unhoused encampments. It is our shared responsibility to act now, for the future of our children and our planet.

Our Commitment: The No Skids Movement

We couldn’t sit by while current trends persisted, so we took action. The No Skids Movement was born out of our dedication to making a change by providing free hygiene kits to the homeless. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to demonstrating the environmental and hygienic benefits of safe and responsible sanitation practices. This initiative also aims to improve public health by promoting proper waste disposal practices in urban spaces.

Contributing to a Global Effort

Our program is effective because it engages directly with the unhoused, empowering them to be part of a broader movement for positive change.
